Our client needed to simplify their sales processes. Sounds like an easy assignment? Maybe for a small-sized business it would be enough to introduce a sales strategy (maybe). But when we talk about a client like ours – a multinational online retail network, selling online over 19 mln pharma products from over 3500 suppliers – it gets much more sophisticated.

Our client needed to modernize their selling platform by removing the manual and tedious steps labs are forced to deal with when researching, purchasing, and tracking lab supplies available for scientists on their marketplace platform. Simply – increase sales through transparent product and process information.

They had an idea how to do it and when helped them put it into practice with our project management knowledge and supremacy in agile technologies.

Our solution

We were responsible for implementing the project together with our client as one team in Agile Project Management Model. Our role was to reflect client’s requirements in a smoothly running business platform (marketplace), supporting achievement of client’s business goals. The scope of our support included:

  1. Working with huge data amounts and data models to implement online product catalogues and seamless data processing
  2. Integrations with third-party suppliers (identification, authorisation, business proceses etc.)
  3. Designing a user-friendly interface (with all cooperation steps presented in a simple yet informative manner)
  4. Adjusting components and extensions of the platform to potential future business needs
  5. Introduction of new platform features and functionalities
  6. Preparation of new QA and test strategy
  7. Bugfixing
